The Kelsie Karpiak Memorial Scholarship Foundation is proud to boast of our committed, passionate, and generous Board of Directors. Our board is comprised of individuals that support the Karpiak Family and/or are members of the dance or nonprofit communities in Miami, Florida. All are passionate about dance and the mission of the Foundation - to award post-secondary education scholarships to deserving graduating seniors that dance.
Rosanna Karpiak is mother to Kelsie Karpiak (1990-2014). Together with her husband Craig and with support from sons CJ and Kevin, Rosanna led the creation of the Kelsie Karpiak Memorial Scholarship Foundation. Rosanna Karpiak is mother to Kelsie Karpiak (1990-2014). She was a much beloved high school dance teacher and coach at Coral Gables High School (1981-2006) and Miami Palmetto High School (2006-2016). She served as president of the America Dance Alliance before retiring to St. Augustine, Florida.

Patti A Graganella was raised in Tallahassee, Florida. She is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Marketing and Business Administration. She is the Chief Administrative Officer for the Florida League of Cities where she manages an annual budget of over $45 million. Patti has served as Board of the Kelsie Karpiak Memorial Scholarship Foundation since 2018.
Jennifer Schaefer is a transformational change leader and wellness coach, friend of the family, and dance enthusiast. She attended Coral Gables High as was Co-Captain of Gablettes dance team. She earned a degree from the University of Miami where she was the Director and Coach of the UM Sunsations dance team. Jennifer was instrumental to the operations of the American Dance Association.
Jackie Pearl found her passion for non-profits while working on a degree at the University of North Florida. For the last ten years, she has served as the Special Events Coordinator for the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida. Jackie brings her wealth of experience in event management and development to the Kelsie Karpiak Memorial
