Incredible Talent on Showcase
Our Showcase 4 Scholarships features a variety of talented dancers who volunteer their time to perform.
When in crisis - Dance!
In 2020 and during the height of the COVID crisis, we pivoted our Showcase 4 Scholarships to a digital platform. This video features dancers from Dance Empire performing a piece entitled 'Blue Moon'. It was choreographed by Dance Empire alumni and award-winning dancer/choreographer Jamar Roberts.
Creative Choreography
This piece entitled 'My Darling - Break Free" features choreography and performances from dancers (and sisters) Brooke and Bali Logan. It was performed for the 2020 Showcase 4 Scholarships - our digital edition during the COVID pandemic.
This duet is from Studio 33 Miami and it is directed by Nicole Perez. Nicole danced with Kelsie Karpiak in middle school. She was moved to put this piece together for our 2020 Showcase 4 Scholarships - digital edition.
From the athletic fields of Miami Palmetto Senior High School, the Variations Dance Team performs a statement piece about the impacts of COVID. This performance was recorded and shared in our 2020 Showcase 4 Scholarships.
